Lilly and The Pouring Rain (Narrative Text)

Lilly was a 12-years-old girl, she wasn’t like the other girl. She didn’t like playing doll or cooking, she liked writing under her favorite tree, an apple tree, she called it bonbon that means sweet. Her mom didn’t know Lilly’s habit, she didn’t even know that Lilly likes writing. Everyone on Lilly’s family was busy on their own bussiness. Lilly felt so lonely, so one day, she decided to run away from her house. But she was discovered by her mom.

“Lilly... Don’t go anywhere, There’s still something that you have to be finished! Come here!” said Lilly’s mom.

Lilly didn’t stop, she kept running from her house.

She had been walking for 15 minutes and she wasn’t too far from her house. Suddenly, It was raining hard. Lilly didn’t bring anything except some pairs of clothes and her book. She stopped in somewhere, she rested there until the rain stop. But it rained so long and she had been waiting for about 2 hours. She almost cried, she was so hungry and cold. But it was her decision to run away from house. So, she wrote her experience today,
"Today I feel like a free-flying bird, but I feel like nobody too. I ran away from my house. I feel like nobody notices me, nobody understands me."

Then she continued,
"But I feel so lonely, I never thought that I might be miss home."

She had ended her writing. She looked outside, and the rain had let up a little. She walked outside, and continued her journey. But someone was yelling at her, and shouted her name. She looked back and found that her mother was calling her. Her mother brought rain coat and sweater. Lilly saw her mom, but she couldn’t say anything. Her mom almost crid, then Lilly’s mother said,

“Lilly! Where have you been?! You make everyone worries about you! Don’t ever do that again!” Said her mom.

“But you don’t understand me, everyone just busy on their bussiness, and never care about the other!” replied Lilly.

“You have to understand Lilly.. Everyone cares about you, but you don’t see it, but it’s not the same anymore. You don’t want to be treated like a baby girl anymore, right? You had grown up, you have to see something in different point of view, everybody changes, you and I change, we all change.” advised her mom

“but mom..” said Lilly

“You will understand it, life isn’t like a room that we can live like what we want, but it’s depended on everyone, you don’t feel like they don’t care because you don’t see from the other point.” Advised her mom again

“Let’s go home, everyone waits and worries about you” her mom added.

Finally, Lilly went home. Before she went to bed, she added some writing on her book. She wrote,
"Ok, I have been wrong about my family. I feel like nobody cares about me, because I don’t want to see from the other point, like my mom said to me. They probably feel like what I feel, so I don’t want to run away anymore. This is my home, and It will be my home anymore. Home sweet home like people said. I have through so many things today. I think I never forget about it."
